The NamUs repository is a resource when searching for missing, unidentified and unclaimed persons cases. The database allows investigators and forensic scientists to work together, by matching unidentified remains with missing persons. The database is searchable by name, state and county, and provides information about the date a person went missing. A more advanced search option allows the data to be filtered further by circumstances, demographics, physical description and any additional case information.
