Congressional requirements in the 2018 Department of Homeland Security Appropriations require ICE to publicize all reports related to in custody deaths within 90 days. Each detained alien death, beginning with fiscal year 2018 and going through present day in 2026 is available on ICE’s site on the dropdown menu. The information includes the person’s name and date of death. Previous detainee death review documents that have been requested and provided through a FOIA request are also available here.
