The National Registry of Exonerations provides state and county data on exonerations from 1989 to present day. The data can be sorted by a number of factors including date of exoneration, contributing factors to the false conviction, the type of crime and the sentence. Individuals can also be searched for within the database, and contain background information on their case. The data can be exported, but must be first requested from the registry.
